The Ivy, London

Located in Covent Garden, the Ivy is something of an icon on London’s dining scene and a uniquely British institution known throughout the world.

The Ivy reopened in 2015 after closing in January—for the first time in 25 years—for a facelift.

Lighting Design by MBDS and MBLD

Ambient lighting is provided by Lumino’s Vector V10S cove lighting profile using our new High CRI LEDs in Candlelight Warm White 2000K.

Martin Brudnizki Design Studio was approached by Caprice Holdings to redesign the Iconic London restaurant. From the original stained-glass windows to the focus on the best of British art, those elements which were the essence of The Ivy’s past interior remain. Whilst bringing the restaurant into the twenty-first century, a breathtaking central bar and elegant colour palette reinvigorate the space.
