Skansa, Stockholm

One of the leading construction companies in Scandinavia and around the globe, Skanska, recently opened their new head office in the centre of Stockholm.  In designing and building their new green and smart headquarters in Stockholm city, they turned to ÅF Lighting for the lighting design.  Being part of the lively Kungsholmen area in Stockholm city where new apartments and shops are being built, the façade of the building was very important for Skanska.

Supplied by Lumino partner Rebel Light, the Vector V12S in IPX7 spec at 5000K was selected to backlight ceiling panels with Skanska’s “S”-logo punched in it. Thanks to our consistency in the White Spectrum range, every ‘S’ is exactly the same, as a reflection of Skanska’s eye for detail. 

Hosting 1100 co-workers, the new office offers a flexible and multi-faceted environment, which is self-sufficient in geothermal cooling.
