Lighting Designers get festive at LUMINO event

With the run-up to Christmas now here, LUMINO recently organised a pre-Christmas event to bring together lighting designers for an evening of fun and festivities.

The group of more than 30 lighting designers were invited to the event at The Attendant in Shoreditch, London where they entered into their very own winter wonderland. The guests were treated to Christmas music, mulled wine and festive nibbles to get them into the Yuletide spirit. 

Working in teams, the designers were tasked to make gingerbread houses using kits, and decorating them with the embellishments and props provided. Each team was judged on not only the gingerbread house but also the setting and surrounding they created for their house. Three teams were selected to be crowned the winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

The LUMINO team thoroughly enjoyed the event and are planning to host a similar get-together next Christmas, as well as events at other key times of the forthcoming year.
