Glasgow Central Station
Lumino’s Vector V10S is used to great effect at Scotland’s busiest station, Glasgow Central as part of Network Rail’s £2M station enhancement programme in the run up to the Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow during July 2014.
Concealed behind floating wall panels, the Vector LED profiles in 3800K create an indirect linear lighting effect with rotational mounts enabling perfectly directed light along the passenger tunnel. Specified by Atkins Design & Engineering Scotland Senior Electrical Engineer Stewart Douglas, the V10S was chosen for its unique rotation adjustment and wide array of length and power options.
The profiles were made to site-specific lengths and supplied by Solus Solutions in record time, ensuring project completion before the games commenced.
Vector V10S is Lumino’s ultra-slim LED profile, just 6.8mm thick. Ideal for concealed coving, undershelf or step applications. Suitable for continuous runs of up to 6m wired in series or longer runs of any length in parallel. White Spectrum™ technology built-in. Available in 100mm increments from 105mm up to 2005mm. Rotation mounts allow 90 degree rotation for light throw adjustment.
